Who does he think he's trying to fool?

At some point in your life, you've probably told people something about your dating life that isn't true. It's very common to exaggerate the amount of experience you've had, especially when you're young and you're embarrassed that you don't know what you're doing in relationships. When you're in middle school, it's common to talk about your "boyfriend who goes to another school" who doesn't actually exist. It's one of those lies that are developmentally appropriate at the time, but it's not the kind of thing you want to be doing into adulthood.

It's a hard life, being an adult who has retreated into relationship fantasies but isn't bold enough to go out into the world to pursue them. There are many reasons that this might happen to somebody. If they've been rejected, either repeatedly or at a formative age, they might be less willing to put themselves out there and risk being hurt again. I know that when I was dating, I always had to take a break after a fling didn't work out, because it would've been emotionally exhausting to put myself out there again immediately afterward.

The dude in this story is either a jokester or a lonely person desperately trying to convince others he's desirable to women. My money is on the latter, but you need to see his pictures before you judge.
